Africa Inland Mission (AIM) is a Christian mission sending agency, reaching Africa’s remaining unreached people groups (UPGs) with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Today over 900 African people groups remain unreached, representing roughly 316 million people. The mission began in East Africa in 1895 and in Australia in 1916. The initial focus was the inland of Africa which was home to many unreached people. Today the aim is to have Christ-centred churches among all African peoples. The priority is still unreached people groups wherever they are, across Africa or in countries beyond Africa.
AIM is engaged in making disciples among 80 African UPGs and currently has personnel serving in over 30 countries in Africa and around the world. There are many ways to serve Africa’s people. Whether that’s direct outreach to unreached people, mobilising African people to reach the unreached, equipping African church leaders or behind the scenes supporting roles.
