Homes of Hope - poor and marginalised

We seek to bring hope to economically needy families by building homes in partnership with local communities. For a family in need, a home of their own represents not only much needed shelter, but stability, dignity and hope for the future as well.

As Homes of Hope, we mobilise international teams of people to tangibly demonstrate God’s care this way for the poorest communities in the nations surrounding the Indian Ocean.

Furthermore, participating in the build themselves gives the family and community members a true sense of ownership and investment. Building homes is part of a larger aim of holistic transformation. As we build homes, we partner with a community’s local churches in reaching their neighbours with the gospel as well. 

The one prerequisite for joining staff is to do a DTS. You can read more about this 6-month course on our website.
