Discipleship/Teaching Theology in Tanzania
The Nyamwezi Outreach Team began in July 2018 and is still open to new members. The Team uses a wide range of ministry avenues to reach out to the Islamic Nyamwezi people, Tanzania’s second largest people group. Ministries include Conservation Agriculture and other Community Development work, teaching in government schools, children’s Bible clubs, Discovery Bible Studies, and teaching theology to equip lay leaders. New team members will focus heavily on learning Swahili in their first year of ministry, and continue to increase their language abilities as they serve. Ultimately, the goal of this team is to bring the gospel to the unreached Nyamwezi people, and to disciple believers to be disciple makers.
