Performing Arts DTS (Discipleship Training School) | YWAM Perth

From improv to music, monologue to modern dance, use your skills and passion to bring His hope to the nations! 

Performing arts have the power to communicate deeply across language and cultural barriers. Reaching beyond surface level, opportunities open to connect and inspire. Why not harness that power for His purposes? 

The performing arts DTS consists of three parts:

1. Join us as we dive into three months of intensive discipleship, followed by three months in the nations using our gifts to reach and serve. We’ll start out immersed in our YWAM missions community, tackling topics like hearing God’s voice, worship, prayer, missions, evangelism and more - you’ll get the full DTS experience! Learning and growth happens not just in the classroom, but in the streets, in small group discussions and practical service. We’ll also work on honing our skills and putting together performances to use on outreach (practice, practice, practice!). 

2. From there, we launch out into the nations! All we’ve learned comes to life as we bring His hope to individuals and communities. From performing in slums to flash mobs in city streets, we’ll do what it takes to get the message across. Sometimes it’s polished and sometimes it’s raw and organic, no matter what - He’s always centre stage. 

3. To wrap up, we head back to Perth to celebrate all that God has done and look ahead to what He has next. We’re confident God gave us skills and passion for a reason – He wants to use them powerfully!
