Could you help us spread the word about Mukti Australia in your community?

We are looking for people of all ages (18yrs plus) who would like to help us spread the word about the life-changing work that Pandita Ramabai Mukti Mission is doing in India, and that Wings of Hope Lanka is doing in Sri Lanka. Both of our partner agencies are working with vulnerable and disadvantaged women and children, educating, empowering and faciliatating opportunities for a brighter future. (inspiring them to believe for a brighter future). 

There are many ways you could help us do this. For example:

• Help set up a market stall where we can sell items made by women & girls in India & Sri Lanka, as well as items made by our crafty volunteers.
• Be a "Mukti Ambassador" in your local church or youth group. We can supply you with brochures, newsletters, and promotional materials. We can even provide you with a Power-Point Presentation or a video-clip in MP4 format to show at church services, home groups, etc. 
• Help out occasionally with admin tasks in either our Melbourne or Perth office
• Help us place donation boxes in local businesses and periodically empty them, banking the money to our account, or provide the businesses with our direct banking details.
• Help out with any special events that we organise from time-to-tme - or even run your own fundraising event for us! (We can give you ideas, but we'd love to hear yours too).

Put as many or as few hours into your volunteer role as suits your lifestyle. You would need to agree with our policies and procedures plus sign a simple document that protects you as well as us. Some travel expenses may be reimbursed by agreement. We'd love to chat with you about how you might fit in with our awesome team!
