The Leprosy Mission Australia

The Leprosy Mission is an international Christian organisation working towards the eradication of the causes and consequences of leprosy.  We work alongside governments, local communities, the World Health Organisation (WHO), other non-profit government organisations (NGOs), churches and Christian partners for a leprosy-free tomorrow.

Since 1874 we have been serving people affected by leprosy.  We are the oldest and largest leprosy-focused organisation in the world today.

Following Jesus Christ, The Leprosy Mission strives to break the chains of leprosy, empowering people to attain healing, dignity and life in all its fullness.
