Do you have a heart for evangelising and mentoring youth? Are you passionate about sports, or have experience in coaching, counselling, leadership or communications? Do you want to help churches set up effective programs to witness to their local community?

If you answer ‘yes’ to one or more of these questions, talk to us about exploring an opportunity to serve God through SIM’s Sports Friends ministry.

Sports Friends aims to equip churches to make disciples of youth, their families and their communities through strategic sports ministry. We have opportunities to engage with youth through Sports Friends in Thailand, South Asia, Niger, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Nigeria and more.

“What we most urgently need are Christians gifted in pastoral care. We need biblically-grounded missionaries to walk alongside the national staff and volunteers - training, mentoring and discipling them,” said Andrew and Bec, who serve with Sports Friends Thailand.

“We need more leaders who understand what discipleship looks like, and who are brave and creative in building relationships with young people to lead and mentor them in the faith.”
