Member Care Coordinator

We have an opportunity for someone who has a heart for missions and people, to serve alongside our members by coordinating their pastoral care. Our vision is to send people to be involved in biblical church movements in East Asia and we believe that good Member Care is an essential part of sustaining people in cross-cultural ministry for the long run. We want to get alongside missionaries by helping them process their experiences, providing resources to equip churches as they help meet the missionaries’ practical needs, and ensuring that each person can find ways to build their resilience.

The Member Care Coordinator will work as part of a team to ensure a good support base of care for NSW members while they are in Australia. This includes help with organising practical needs, providing opportunities to attend retreats, and take holidays.

You must have demonstrated involvement in cross-cultural mission and have personal experience overseas.

Valuable skills include being able to stay on top of administrative work, planning and coordinating events, and leading a team of volunteers.

You need to be able to commit 3-5 days a week towards this role.

Our office is based in Sydney and some out-of-hours work will be involved.

This is a position where you would need to raise your own financial support or work as a volunteer.

A start date for this role is negotiable and can begin as soon as we find the right person or give you time to finish up another ministry if need be. You may be asked to go through the membership selection process depending on your current ministry and financial needs.
