As a guest house manager, you would play an important role in supporting WEC members as well as other guests using the facilities for accommodation and training. The WEC Gambia guest house is on a large property which includes offices, a large hall, a workshop and a spacious guest house.You would work closely with our local employee who takes care of the day to day running of the place.
You would be responsible to oversee the activities at the mission house and its property, give support where needed and initiate renovation work or other needed developments of the property.
Requirements
- Hospitality
- Good communication skills (in English) to deal with team members, workers, visitors
- Basic computer skills
- Flexibility (for unplanned things)
- Some understanding of accounting
- Practical maintenance skills are helpful
WEC in The Gambia presently focuses on education, both formal and non-formal providing teachers and trainers in government and private institutions. Members are also involved in various Youth ministries, literacy and medical work and work closely with the Evangelical Church of the Gambia in church planting.
