Maintain and develop strong and transparent financial management systems in line with global best practices and the company's values.
Develop and maintain strong systems of financial controls; support financial systems for projects and offices; direct the team in preparing budgets and writing grant applications; ensure good stewardship of resources; operate bank accounts; supervise recording of financial transactions; ensure books are properly maintained; work with external auditors.
Qualifications: Chartered Accountant/CPAA or equivalent academic degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field. Some experience as Finance Director or Chief Finance Officer, able to lead and manage a small team.
Proficient in written and spoken English. Able to prioritise and perform well under pressure. Some cross-cultural communication skills, able to live and work in a cross-cultural context.
