English Teacher/s

An adult education centre offers English and Arabic courses to adults.

English teachers are needed for both four-skills (speaking listening reading writing) courses and conversation-style courses. Classes typically meet 6 hours per week but the schedule is flexible especially for teachers willing to teach 2 or more courses per term. Mornings and evenings are typical teaching times. We also have a long waiting list of students who want private tutoring in English. There are a lot of opportunities to build relationships with people from all over the region.

Adult education experience is strongly preferred but we will train an open-minded individual if necessary. TESOL/TEFL certification helpful but not required. Teachers need to be flexible and have a vision for how education and language education in particular fit into our larger vision.
