Discipleship as part of a Christian community

Be part of a WEC ministry in Germany - “Ephata”. Its vision "is to develop one or more Christian living communities."

The goal of this community is to win people to Christ (evangelism), to deepen the faith of believers (discipling), and to foster a missional lifestyle (mission). Do you have a heart for discipleship and biblical counselling? Would you like to be involved in developing a new ministry? “Ephata community” is a pioneer project in the north of Germany, which focuses on discipleship and biblical counselling. As a part of the pioneer team your involvement would contain a variety of tasks such as: caring for people, counselling sessions, leading Bible studies and prayer times, helping to organise outreaches or mission trips, administration, working in and around the house, etc. As a team, we live together in a big community house, sharing our lives. However, there will be times and places for privacy, retreat, and leisure activities, which we see as an essential part of a good work-life balance.

Ephata is looking for people, who can engage with young Christians who want to grow in their faith.

Qualifications: A heart and passion for discipleship and counselling and heart to serve others. Eager and excited to help develop a new ministry. Should be willing to take over responsibility. Mature Christian with biblical knowledge and ability to teach others. A willingness to learn German.

Flexibility, hospitality, people person. Technically gifted might be useful, but not required.
