Power to Change commenced in Australia in 1967 being previously known as Campus Crusade for Christ and LIFE Ministries. It oversees a wide range of ministries in university settings (formerly known as Student Life), with churches, in schools and in the digital arena.
There is also a humanitarian component known as GAiN. It is a dynamic and thriving mission organisation serving within Australia and overseas.
Power to Change has a heart for people to experience the joy of knowing Jesus, helping people to encounter him personally and to build multiplying disciples.

About Global Aid
Global Aid is the humanitarian partner of Power to Change in Australia and Cru globally, with offices in nine nations and projects in over fifty-two countries around the world.
It exists to demonstrate the love of God by revealing hope and restoring life through relief and development initiatives for people living in crisis and injustice. It works with emerging Christian leaders engaged with existing PTC strategies and the wider Christian community in Australia.

About the role
The Deputy Nationnal Strategy Director of Global Aid serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of GAiN and is responsible for working with the National Strategy Director in developing the strategy of Global Aid in the context of Power to Change.
Specific duties include:
Setting direction for the organisation including in a changing environment
Representing the ministry and acting as a spokesperson in strategic relationships
Recruiting, mobilising and developing missionary and vounteer teams
Compliance
Finance oversight and funding strategy
Leadership, admin and logistics
Some travel – a few times a year for ministry purposes.
About you
The successful candidate needs to passionately share the vision and core values of the organisation. You will have experience in successfully leading and delivering outcomes in a similar role.
You will be able to quickly develop strong relationships with key stake holders, influencethe direction and harness the efforts of strategic leaders, missionaries and volunteers in order to achieve the desired outcomes.
The characteristics required include:
Project management and Operations management skills
Reasonable financial Acumen to understand budgets, operations , project management etc.
Knowledge in MS Office and similar office products.
Leadership capacity to manage support staff, and other strategy leaders
Good verbal and written communication skills,
Heart of compassion for the needy and disadvantaged and can align with GAiN vision and mission statements. see globalaid.net.au
Committed Christian with a disciple attitude.
