A learning centre in Chad provides an oportunity for you to help Chadians wishing to learn how to use a computer, including basic software, and email programs in a well equipped IT room. Students will mostly be men, both Muslim and non-Muslim. Classes will be small with a maximum of 10 students per class. You will be responsible for preparing and teaching the lessons. There are usually opportunities to share the Hope we have with our students, whether in or out of class. Male teachers will generally have more opportunity to make contact with students outside of class.
Qualifications: Knowing French and/or Arabic is necessary. Teachers who stay for several months or more will be expected to learn some Chadian Arabic in Chad. You will be part of the WEC team, which has the goal of planting a mature, expanding church among the Eastern peoples of Chad.
