In light of the current situation regarding COVID-19, WEC's STOMPs (short term mission trips) including team trips and tailor made placements are on hold until further notice. This is until the situation is resolved enough to guarantee the safety and health of participants in both travel and place of service. Please feel free to enquire regarding future and rescheduled trips and placements.
WEC has opportunities for churches and Christian university groups to provide teams to run holiday club type programmes for children and youth during our annual branch conferences. In WEC we value the whole family, so special children’s and teenagers’ programmes run by outside groups are much appreciated. The progammes allow parents to attend the conference sessions. Often it is also possible to have an extra “exposure” week with the branch to see more of their life and ministries.
Teams will need to come with a programme of activities prepared and ready to go, that will engage and entertain the kids, but also help them to grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Qualifications: Good with under 18s, experience leading Holiday Bible Clubs or Sunday School. Able to plan the activities and programme.
Each team member will need appropriate working with children and police clearances and will have to read, agree to and signed the WEC International Child Protection Policy.
