Half a million registered pilgrims walk the Santiago de Compostela each year with 42% citing religious reason as their amotivation for walking the Camino.
You could be involved in sharing Christ with some of these pilgrims. Walk part of the way with them, listen to see where they are spiritually and then share with them accordingly. There will be good opportunities for intercession and art as well. Also, throughout the year we serve in various Christian hostels in maintenance and construction so handy man and women are welcome! You need to be fairly physically fit and can come for two weeks between April and October. An introduction and debrief will be given by workers on the ground.
Requirements: People of any age that can come for two weeks or more between April and October each year for walking and throughout the year for serving in maintenance or construction. Any language, but especially English and Spanish. You will sleep in the hostels, possibly in mixed dorms. During the introduction and evaluation you will live with WEC missionaries. While helping in hostels that other ministries have, you will stay there.
Any weeks between April and October each year.
