Reach young Thai people for Christ by taking part in outdoor adventure camps in South Thailand.
Adventure Camps are run by OMF church planters based in Nakhon Si Thammarat, South Thailand. The camps are mainly held in Krabi province on the west coast of Thailand. The adventure activities create an open environment where the Gospel can be shared naturally. Another goal of this ministry is to build confidence in Thai Christian youth as well as develop a new generation of Thai Christian leaders.
Activities on camp include:
- rock climbing, abseiling (rappelling), caving, kayaking, swimming and team-building activities
- building friendships with the Thai teenagers and young adults and sharing the gospel in a natural way through our lives, conversations and led discussions.
- serving the campers and other leaders on camp by assisting with the logistics of running camp.
Each group outing normally consists of 5-8 foreigners, 5-8 Thai Christian leaders and up to 35 Thai youth (of whom approx. 50% are Christians)
