You are never too young to start thinking about missions, to understand the needs in the world, to understand what God is doing to share the good news of Jesus and to pray for missionaries. When was the last time you challenged the children in your church to think about mission?
WEC Australia's heart is to see people of all ages engaging with the Great Commission. We therefore as part of our Stepping into Mission initiative, we have First Step Kids - a set of programmes, from a simple morning session to a whole weekend, for primary aged children that can be hosted at your church. First Steps Kids will enable your children to learn about missions and being a missionary. Activities include Bible teaching, games, crafts, and an interactive prayer time that allows the children to fully engage with the idea of missions.
Are you or your church are planning a church weekend camp or event where you want your children to be more than simply babysat? A First Steps Kids programme is a worthwhile option. It is fully flexible to fit around the time that you make available to us. If you are interested in our team running a programme for you, click on the Course Website link.
