Tabor’s Master of Ministry is a comprehensive coursework award designed to prepare students academically and spiritually for Christian ministry and leadership in a variety of contexts. Entry into the award is via the Graduate Diploma in Ministry.
The coursework content investigates models of Christian leadership and management while developing an advanced theology of ministry within a scriptural and trinitarian framework. Christian Ministry offers a variety of career options, both domestically and overseas. This program will provide you with the leadership training and tools required to be an outstanding contemporary Christian leader, and to reach your full potential for the Glory of God.
Tabor Masters of Ministry students also have the opportunity to explore in greater depth an area of specialisation that culminates in the production of a major professional work or research project. Areas of specialisation may include biblical studies, theological studies, spirituality and formation for ministry and ministry practice.
Outcomes: Graduates may find employment as pastors or leaders in church and parachurch organisations. Alternatively, the course may be used as a form of personal or professional development for those already engaged in ministry. Graduates with significant pastoral experience may also serve as educators of ministers in training in Christian tertiary education institutions in their area of specialisation.
