ENCORE | Morling

Are you retired or semi-retired and looking for a way to continue learning about God, the Bible and the Christian life? Do you want to meet other Christians in a similar stage of life? Encore, offered by Morling College, is designed especially for you. Encore is an open learning environment designed for retirees or individuals who are no longer working full-time and who wish to bring their life experience, skills and knowledge and learn more about God with other Christians.

At Encore you will

- Receive engaging Bible teaching to challenge your own journey with God and help you grow spiritually.

- Ask tough questions about life’s biggest issues and reflect on the application of God’s Word to the challenges of today’s complex culture.

- Explore ways to put your faith in action in your family, community and overseas.

Encore is held on Friday mornings at the Morling College campus. There are no academic requirements or assessments for Encore. Instead you will experience the joy of learning more about your spiritual life and faith with others who are on the same journey. Lectures are offered by Morling College faculty as well as guest speakers known for their wisdom and experience as well as their love of God.

Each Friday morning you will experience biblical teaching based on a strong theological foundation, social interaction with other Christians during morning tea, and lively discussion around a topic of interest. Encore is a wonderful opportunity to learn and grow spiritually and join a community of Christians dedicated to deepening their understanding of God in a supportive and friendly setting.
