Doctor of Philosophy | BST

If you’ve achieved consistently high results in your theological studies, and are now looking to contribute to the knowledge of the Christian community in some way, we would encourage you to undertake a Doctor of Philosophy.

The program allows you to specialise very closely in a particular topic or theme of Scripture, pushing you towards in-depth analysis with a fresh perspective and a clear understanding of any resulting doctrinal or practical implications. The guidance of our distinguished lecturers will ensure that you’re comprehensively exposed to the wider world of scholarship and that you are personally advised, encouraged and resourced. The broader BST community will also provide a supportive and gospel-centred context for your research, keeping your study grounded in the authority of the Bible, the family of the church and Jesus’ call to mission.
