As with the 1 and 1.5 year awards, the curriculum is aligned so that units studied may be credited towards a number of awards. In the case of the Advanced Diploma of Ministry, the course will give you a solid foundation in bible, theology and mission, with an emphasis on application in the contemporary world. - Cultural Anthropology
- Church Planting
- Early New Testament Churches
- Old Testament Prophets and Writings
- History of Missions / Emergence of Christianity
- Theology Overview
- Cross-cultural Communication
- Principles and Practice of Hermeneutics
- 2 x Old Testament and/or New Testament Exegesis
- Living Faiths
- Practical Ministry Field Education
2 electives – for example, Leadership and Management, Patterns of Spiritual Formation, Evangelism and Missiology Seminar, Christian Ministry in Islamic Contexts, Cross-cultural Field Education
If you have an interest in picking up a unit which is not offered at the Worldview delivery site, any non-core units may be substituted for other units offered through any of the Australian College of Theology (ACT) affiliated colleges. A number of colleges offer these by distance or intensive mode. Likewise, if you want to credit these units towards a different ACT award, for example, an Advanced Diploma of Theology (pathway 1), this option may be available
