Thriving Abroad: Supporting Families through the Mission Experience
Expatriate breakdown tends not to be a phenomenon of expatriate parents themselves, but rather of their spouses and children.” (Anon, 1988).
While parents often receive extensive training to navigate cross-cultural environments, their families are frequently left unprepared. This workshop dives into the unique challenges expatriate families face. It offers practical ways to prepare, educate, and support parents and children throughout the overseas journey—before, during, and after deployment.
Backed by cutting-edge research, insightful theories, and actionable tools, this workshop is your guide to helping families survive and thrive during global transitions.
