First Aid Officer | ReachOut Missions Conference 2024

ReachOut Missions Conference is an annual event designed to inspire and equip Christians for global mission engagement. The conference aims to foster a deep understanding of God's global purpose, ignite a passion for missions, and provide practical tools for effective involvement in global outreach. Participants can learn from God's Word, connect with experienced missionaries, and engage in workshops that explore various aspects of cross-cultural work.
To provide First Aid assistance onsite at the ReachOut Conference as required.
· Ensure the First Aid Kit is correctly and sufficiently stocked.
· Communicate with the ReachOut venue to learn what equipment is onsite (ie. Defibrillator, First Aid Kit)
· To be available onsite at ReachOut Conference to administer First Aid as required.
12-10 Months | September - November
· Check the current First Aid Kit, which should include:
o Normal saline sachets 30mls x74 sachets
o White arm sling x3 pieces
o Latex free M gloves x1 box
o Island dressing S size x 50 pieces
o Island dressing M size x50 pieces
o Bandaid x 45 pieces
o Crepe bandage 10cm x 12 rolls
o Gauze’s 7.5cm x 95 pieces
o Dressing pack x3 sets
o ORS effervescence tablet x 2 tubes
o Gastro stop Loperamide x20 caps
o Quickeze chewable tablets x1 tube
o Gaviscon Dual Action x 16 tabs
o Difflam Lozenges x16 tabs
o Blankets for patient who undergoes shock
o Panadol
o Ibuprofen
o Antiseptic ointment
· Ensure all items are accounted for and in-date. If not, please purchase and keep all receipts for reimbursement.
3 Months | June
· Confirm with the Booklet creator that your name and the MI Mobile Number will be added into the Booklet, to ensure Attendees can easily contact you.
1 Month | August
· Confirm with the venue what medical equipment they have onsite, including a Defibrillator or additional first aid kit. Confirm where these items are located, and be familiar with their location once onsite.
· Have a digital and printed map of the venue to become familiar with the venue and room names.
· Create a sheet to record the names, mobile numbers, medical issues, assistance provided and equipment used on potential patients at ReachOut.
Event Week | 1-7th September
· Ensure the First Aid Kit is packed and ready to take to the ReachOut Venue.
· Receive the MI Mobile Phone which will be used to contact you onsite at ReachOut, should anyone need your assistance.
· Ensure the Administrator has printed signage with your name and the MI Mobile Phone number so that you are easily contactable onsite at ReachOut.
Event Day | 7th September
· Keep the MI Mobile Phone on-hand and ready to receive any calls for assistance.
· Have a map of the venue on-hand to be able to easily find where a patient is located.
· If any assistance is required on the day, please keep a record of the person’s name, mobile, the medical issue and what assistance was provided, as well as what equipment was used from the First Aid Kit.
· Highlight and record what will need replacing from the First Aid Kit at the conclusion of the event.
