PART TIME ACCOUNTS PAYABLE POSITION

SIM Australia is looking for an Accounts Payable with a heart for God.   SIM Australia (sim.org.au) is a Christian mission agency helping to make the Gospel global. We facilitate cross-cultural workers from anywhere to everywhere to reach the least reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The role of Accounts Payable involves communicating with our members and staff, and processing payments.In May/June each year there is also an additional opportunity to assist our Partner Relations team with the increased volume of processing payments through the donor system.

The part time position would ideally be based in our SIM Australia’s Sydney office, although work from home applications are welcome. Time zones should be adjusted in line with Sydney office hours if working remotely.

To fit with the turn around requirements of payments, preferable hours would be 3 days at 2.5 hours or 2 days 3.75 hours, or negotiable to suit, and possible additional hours in May & June.

The Accounts payable role covers a range of activities as part of a Christ-centred, devoted and enthusiastic organisation, within a pleasant and supportive team environment.

Initial employment will be through a one-year employment agreement. It is highly probable that a permanent position may be offered to the right candidate.
