Lighthouse Family Christian Church is looking for a Many Nations Pastor to join our friendly team at Keysborough. We are looking for someone who can play a vital role in supporting the purpose, vision and values of the church by promoting, teaching and equipping the Many Nations Congregation. The successful candidate will need to provide spiritual leadership and effectively empower, equip and pastor both staff and volunteers in providing a dynamic worship gathering that honours Jesus Christ.

Key Responsibilities

·       Develop vision and strategy for the fulfilment of the purpose and vision of the church in ministering to many nations.

·       Develop a structure of spiritually gifted leaders, mentors and apprentices.

·       Preach and teach the Word of God and at Many Nations worship gatherings.

·       Provide regular and accurate reports to the Senior Pastor and Eldership about the status and direction of the Many Nations congregation.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience

·       A person who exhibits the godly character qualities outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1–7; Titus 1:6–9; 1 Peter 5:2–3 and Acts 6:4

·       Minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience

·       Certificate IV in Ministry (or higher) from a recognised bible college will be highly regarded

·       Minister’s Credential holder with the ACC (A suitable candidate will receive mentorship and help for this.)

Selection Criteria

·       Proven ability and experience in development and implementation of vision, strategy and programs

·       Good written and verbal skills, able to articulate and represent the church internally and externally, preferably speaking Mandarin but not necessarily

·       Demonstrated ability to relate well and work well with other pastoral staff and leadership

·       Demonstrated commitment to honouring leadership (Hebrews 13:17, 1 Thessalonians 5:12–13)

·       Recognised leadership gift
